General product description

 SchlitzrinnenSchlitzrinnen

Reinforced concrete, DIN EN 1433 and DIN V19580 - compliant slotted drains with discontinuous inlet slots are suitable in particular for rapidly and safely draining surface water from road surfaces. They are suitable for city and town streets, A- and B-roads, airport taxi- and runways, motorways, and waiting and parking areas; as well as road tunnels and filling stations, where they can be used to safely drain away any flammable liquid spillages; and in industrial facilities, where they can be used to safely collect aggressive substances.

B+F manufactures two different types of slotted drains that feature different drain profiles.
Both of these two types of slotted drains can be supplied with access pipes and water drainage shafts.

Slotted drains with integral gradients of 0.5% are suitable for all level roads and traffic areas. All B+F slotted drains are manufactured from frost- and road-salt resistant, highly chemical resistant, highly abrasion resistant and water-impermeable concrete.

B+F reinforced concrete slotted drains are dimensioned in accordance with DIN 1045-1. These dimensions are calculated in accordance with the loads specified in the DIN Technical Report 101, Load Module 1 (LM1) and Load Module 2 (LM2), and subject to the special load specifications for airport road surfaces and the PCN classification system. Special loading conditions, such as those prevalent in container storage areas, require special consideration.

Slotted drains with discontinuous slots, i.e. reinforcement bars, are suitable for use in areas where the drainage channel is subject to heavy diagonal loading.

B+F also supplies DIN 4060 compliant sealing rings for sealing the joints between slotted drains using sleeves, and recommends the use of bituminous joint sealing compounds for sealing the joints between the drains on the road surface.
