Railroad scales
The railroad scales consist of a foundation (one or more parts), and bridges. The standard bridge is available in lengths of 6.00 m to 10.00 m. The standard foundation cavity can be created as a one piece model of up to 14.00 m and as a two piece model in lengths over 14.00 m.
- For railroad vehicles.
- Sized and designed according to the standard of the Technical Report 101, LM 101.
- 8 load cells are needed for the two-piece bridge and 4 load cells for the one-piece bridge.
- The bridges are provided with one access opening each with round covers for maintenance and cleaning.
- For wiring, DN 40 ductworks are provided under the bridge reflector.
- There are bumper bags with M 20 screws and washers for these are built into the edge protection profile.
- Bearing plates provided for each load cell.
- The bridge surface has a non-slip structure.
- The bridge and cavity parts are constructed “overhead” in order to provide an optimal visual look of exposed concrete.
- For draining and for wiring 2 pipes each DN 100 are provided.
- Delivery of high-quality prefabricated concrete parts in Concrete Quality C 45/55.
- Railroad scales may be provided for all common track widths and profiles.
- Connections for lightning protection equipment are provided.
Within a few hours, the railroad scales can be mounted on foundations constructed according to the site excavation plans.
